"Uminchu Wharf" is in front of a marina where many boats operating diving tours, sunset cruises, and Kerama tours are moored. A number of desks offer information on various marine activities in Chatan and on boat license and renewal courses. Toilets, showers (charged), and coin lockers (charged) are also available. In addition, from January through March, it’s the base for whale watching tours from Chatan, and the homeport for a number of marine leisure boats.
