Town Beach, adjacent to Mihama American Village, is known as one of the best sunset viewing spots in the prefecture. The beauty of the sunset over the East China Sea is awe-inspiring. Besides swimming in the sea, the beach is a popular barbecue spot in the summer, where a BBQ party for groups of up to 1,000 people is possible. During the season, various live music and other performing events, such as hula, are held there.
