100% sea salt from Okinawa "Chatan Salt"
The Chatan Salt is sea salt produced from seawater off the coast of Chatan Town. The process uses 100% "concentrated seawater" produced in the process of making fresh water from seawater. It’s sold in a wide range of packages from 5g to 20kg at supermarkets and souvenir shops. In addition, products created in collaboration with producers of Okinawan souvenirs, and special products such as salt chinsuko and salt sablé cookies by Nampo Tsusho are also popular.
